Camp Get Me Out of Here!
June 19 @ 8:00 am - June 30 @ 5:00 pm PDT
See below for pricingCaaaaaaamp! Get Me Out of Here! Part horror story, part choose your own adventure, and part community building campers will engage in two weeks of fun-focused, summer camp activities, where working together might just save them! Each day campers work towards building a horror story about camp, where they either shoot or perform it, as well as problem-solve a happy ending. Each day campers will learn important project-building skills as well as have the chance to choose activities and “adventures” based on their interests. CGMOH strives to foster personal growth for children by providing them fun, safe educational/recreational lessons that center horror, science-fiction, thriller, and mystery genres for kids ages 8-14. Through outdoor experiences like hikes, nature walks, tree bathing, running for your life, planning for a zombie invasion, protection from vampires and werewolves, to group activities such as writing/talking stories, playing pretend, world-building, set design, arts, crafts, directing, shooting, editing, performing, and teamwork campers will use fear and getting scared to explore larger truths and solutions in a world of chaos. The horror genre has historically been linked to summer camp and with our current times, we want to offer a chance for kids to talk about fear as well as do something unique during the summer days. The end of camp will culminate in an event open to the community where parents, friends, family, and community members will be invited to enjoy the campers’ work on the grounds of the beautiful REACH campus, along with snacks, sing-a-longs, even s’mores!
No REACH family will be turned away for lack of funds. Contact the office at office@reach-program.com if you need help with paying for camp.
